Not boasting you up, but your movie is a masterpiece, a different story, a perfect direction and superb performances. And how can I forget the background score. In the series of almost same kind of horror movies, ghost ship was different. I have seen many horror movies, so I know all these tricks of scaring the audience, I did not get scared but yes I liked it very very much. We need this kind of different movie.

I loved this movie! It wasn't scary but it was more gory. Hopefully there is a second one. The characters were funny! I loved the bit at the beginning it was ace.

Oh my gosh! I can't stand you people saying you don't like this movie. Ever since my old friend had shown it to me, I've been in love with it. This is one of the best movies I have ever watched. I bring it to every one of my sleepovers and force my friends to watch. They have grown to love it also! We all do argue about the ending like whether or not there should be a Ghostship 2, but that still doesn't change our feelings for the movie. It ROCKS!

Ghost Ship utilizes the very effective premise of "discovering the abandoned ship where something horrible has happened"- similar to Alien and Event Horizon. The story is gripping throughout its first 3/4's. It stalls because none of the characters have enough baggage/back story to propel them to take action on their own. Epps' escape is aided by a ghost whom has no reason to save her except out of altruism- which is not foreshadowed in any set-up earlier in the story. The flaw that sinks "Ghost Ship" is the failure to reveal "WHY" the ship is evil. What set the actions in motion to make everyone go crazy? Without this key explanation there is no completion to the story. A character "in the know" would have helped. A treasure hunter motivated by the "El Dorado" of salvage work who knows the legend or story of Chimera would help. He would naturally lie and hide details leading his crew into unforeseen danger out of greed or megalomania. He could be motivated in a similar way as "Ahab" in Moby Dick. This character would be strong enough for Epps to play off of and take action on a moral level that would make her character stronger. The opposition needs to be real and dynamic. This is what deflates the final tension and conflict as wholly predictable and unsatisfying. Human psychology requires an explanation to feel as though a story is complete. These weaknesses prevent "Ghost Ship" from becoming a timeless horror picture.

Very interesting horror. I don't like the fact that it twisted the main character back around on the woman, but it made sense. It's just that there should have been more background on the main character. It was almost like there wasn't one. Then again, interesting horror.

I love this movie it is one of my favorite movies of ALL time, I watch it all of the time! This script is very different from the actual movie though.

This movie is awesome. Nice acting, good story line, even better soundtrack. The beginning is unexpected and superb. I'm an avid horror movie watcher and this is a good movie! It has its weaknesses as does everything, but I still give it a thumbs up. I'm partially even convinced people jumped on the "let's hate Ghost Ship" Bandwagon, just because some sell out critic said so. I don't know if it will stand the turns of time but definitely a keeper.

I found a script, and instead of the ship being called ANTONIA GRAZA, it's called CHIMERA. I didn't like it.
